VIOLA

A mother shares personal stories about her life and her struggles with her son Edward, who has been involved with the juvenile justice system in Memphis, TN. This short documentary won the Special Jury Award at Indie Memphis Film Festival (2015) and an Editing Award at Oxford Film Festival (2016).

We have partnered with Campaign for Youth Justice to offer a discussion guide and free community screening licenses for our short films, ROBERT, VIOLA, and BARBARA. If you would like to show these films to a group in your community, please give us a heads up by completing our Request Form, and consider using the discussion questions for audience reflection afterwards. We will provide a legal release that grants you permission to host a community screening of one or more of the films, as long as the event is free and open to the public. If you would like to show any of the films as part of an educational curriculum, please indicate that on the Request Form, and we will be in touch. Thank you!
